Hi Sheila! Yes, I liked the last iris a lot too, it was the best I painted in class. And my little bird... of course in Sumi-e I would never painted it like that (it wouldn't be official Sumi-e, you know. It was more a kind of joke or playing painting, just to relax... how good I got it cute. Thanks a lot for writing! It means the world for me!
Well, I did wonder because that chick just did not look Sumi to me. It really did look like it was saying, quit being so serious! Cute indeed. :-) I'm looking at it again and noticing the tree by it - very nicely rendered.

That last flower in particular is lovely. And I can almost hear that little bird chirping!
