A última aula de Sumi-e de 2017 / The last class of Sumi-e in 2017

Olá, queridos leitores!
Novembro acabou e, com ele, meu 3o. ano das aulas de Sumi-e!!
É tradição no mês de novembro nós aprendermos a pintar o animal do ano seguinte no calendário chinês. 2018 será o ano do cachorro e qual é o melhor modelo? Pipo, é claro!

Hello, dear readers!
November ended and, with it, my 3rd year attending Sumi-e classes!
It is a tradition that we learn how to paint the animal of the next year in Chinese Calendar and 2018 will be the Year of the Dog. And what is the best model for my paintings? Pipo, the puppy, of course!

Além do cachorro, estou me esforçando para melhorar minhas pinturas de carpa.
Besides painting the dog, I am striving to improve my paintings of koi.

Esta semana fiz 16 cadernos usando a costura copta, para dá-los de presente de final de ano.
This week I made 16 blank books with coptic stitching in order to give them as a Christmas/New Year gift.

Fiquei feliz porque muitos gostaram do caderno e até fizeram uma arte na capa!
I was very happy because many liked to get my blank book and some of them ever made their paintings in the cover!!

A turma toda, todos gratos por um ano maravilhoso.

  1. I love that picture of all those coptic-bound blank books! You are so generous, and what lovely painting was done on some of the covers. It looks like a nice group of students to be learning with.

    1. Hi Sheila, thanks for writing! I think that the Lord is so generous to me that it wouldn't be possible not share what is given to me. It is true that my last week before Thursday were very busy making these blank books, but it was very worth, mainly seeing these originals made. My sumi-e classes are so dear to me, we are a good community of practice.
      Thanks again!!
