I want to share with you that I attended a workshop class about Marbling paper, with teacher Celia Porto in early June. An old dream of mine! Teacher Celia knows deeply about marbling paper and told us many details about this art.

ResponderExcluirIt is true, the workshop was very fun and the best is that I could buy the combs that allow me to make the marblings, and the alum. The workshop was very far away from my house but it was worth! I hope I can practice marbling paper in my vacation.

I can remember making my own combs with nails through cardboard, and also trying hair combs with widely spaced teeth. This was many years ago when I tried marbling on fabric. Much nicer to be able to buy the ready made ones. Good luck with your future experiments with this.
