Pintando corujas na aula de Sumiê / Painting owls in Sumi-e class

      Yes it is true, Sumi-e and traditional Chinese painting are very regal. There is a Chinese stationary store in Sao Paulo downtown that sells many types of them, and there are very impressive (some of them are bigger than mine!) My teacher has these kind of bigger brushes as she paints... well... bigger paintings. Sumi-e is so different from watercolor... in a philosophical way.
