Hello dear readers!
I register here the workshop of origami books taught by me inside Monteiro Lobato Library.
This workshop is an old dream: since 2013 I get books at Japan Foundation Library and there I knew the origami books of Michael G. LaFosse. One of these taught me how to fold the tsuru (another old dream) and another had a project of how to fold a book, so alluring that I promised to myself that one day I would learn how to fold it and to teach it.
Well this day arrived (the workshop in Monteiro Lobato Library were the 3rd I teach!!)
Looks like you had fun and created some really different books!
ResponderExcluirHi Sheila thanks for commenting!
ResponderExcluirYes, I had too much fun teaching these folded books, but believe me research made very anxious. I discovered that bookbinders call these kind of books accordion and origamists call them origamis. So I explained to the students that different kinds of professionals call the same kind of book as they learn.
As I researched both origamists and bookbinders I could identify this.
Thanks for reading and communicating!
