Estas são fotos do caquizeiro existente no jardim que fica no fundo da Associação Tottori, onde faço as aulas de Sumi-e com a professora Suely Shiba.

Surpreendi-me com a mutação desta árvore, que há poucos meses estava completamente sem folhas (mas com muitos passarinhos empoleirados nela). Felizmente os passarinhos continuam lá mas agora estão mais escondidinhos.

Um lembrete de que a primavera está chegando.

These are pictures I took from the persimmon tree inside the Japanese Garden in the backyard of the Tottori kenjinkai, where i attend the Sumi-e classes with teacher Suely Shiba.

I got so surprised because the tree transformed itself in so few months: it was completely leafless (but with so many birds perched in its branchs). Fortunately the birds remain there but now they are so hidden in the foliage.

A reminder that here in Brazil  Springer is coming.

Registro a utilização de alguns livros em brancos costurados com a técnica longstitch.

Para as capas usei algumas folhas marmorizadas (a rosa e a creme/amarela) e pintada com tinta acrílica (a roxa)

Eles estavam meio de lado, mas nesta semana resolvi pintar umas folhas internas para fazer um fundo.

Reporto que estava andando pelo centro de Guarulhos neste último domingo (dia 23 de agosto) quando ouvi o estridente grito da maritaca. Procurei pela fonte e eis que a vi, empoleirada sobre a antena. Linda!

I report that I walked through Guarulhos downtown in the last Sunday (August 23th) when I heard the cry of Pionus maximiliani. I searched the source of the noise and I saw it perched on the anthem. Beautiful!

Continuando a caminhada vi de longe outra maritaca e consegui tirar uma foto dela.

Um domingo muito produtivo!

As I keep walking I saw another Pionus maximilianus individual perched in a branch of this tree. I was able to take a shot of it.

A very productive Sunday.
